Millionaire for a Day Drawing Contest
Gear up for National Credit Union Youth Week
April 20 to 26, 2008 is National Credit Union Youth Week. The theme, “Got green? Grow it at your credit union,” is being promoted at Travis Credit
Union with a Millionaire
for a Day Drawing Contest to put “the green” right where
it belongs—in a young member’s savings account.
Any member in good standing who is age 17 or younger
is invited to participate in our Millionaire for a Day Drawing Contest. We’ll deposit $1 million in the winning artist’s Share Savings account, put it on-hold for the day, and the first place winner will keep the dividends earned from the million dollars for that day and walk away with an iPod® Shuffle! We’ll also publish the winner’s artwork in the July issue of Smart Money Matters, post it on our in-branch
video system, and make a formal presentation to the
winner by the end of May. In addition to bragging rights,
the winner will have proof of the million dollar deposit
on their July statement to show family and friends.
The second place winner will receive $50 and the third place winner will receive $25, which will be deposited into their Share Savings accounts.

The one-day, $1 million deposit into the winner’s savings account is the property of Travis Credit Union and will be withdrawn by the credit union after 24 hours.
