BALANCE provides immediate access to professional financial counselors by phone Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get answers to a wide variety of money management and credit questions, ranging from whether or not you should buy or lease your next car, to questions about how you can get out of debt. Online Personal Finance Education Center
One of the many services you can access through BALANCE is a comprehensive online personal finance education center. It’s loaded with useful interactive tools and information to help you manage money wisely.

Counseling
For more in depth assistance, schedule a phone appointment with a BALANCE counselor to discuss general money management, credit and housing topics including goal setting, spending and saving plans, credit and credit reports, debt  management, buying a first home, mortgage delinquency and foreclosure prevention.

Debt Management Plan
If you are having trouble making ends meet, receiving collection calls or paying down the debt, BALANCE will help you consolidate bill payments and negotiate with creditors to lower payments and, in some cases, reduce or eliminate interest and fees.

QuickPay
For those who just need a little motivation and guidance to help them get out of debt and reach their financial goals, QuickPay is a computer-generated bill-paying schedule designed to compute the most efficient way to pay back debt. This program demonstrates how to spend less on interest charges and speed up the repayment process.
